Hello Brother Knights,
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
November was another successful month for our Council:
1. We had our regular Business and Social Meetings, this month with Deputy Grand Knight Robert Bruchez presiding.
2. We decided to donate 70% of the $3009.52 raised from the Tootsie Roll Drive to FRIENDS of Broomfield to help adults with intellectual disabilities ($1500.00) and to Operation TBI Freedom to help returning soldiers with traumatic brain injuries ($378.00). The remaining 30% remains with the K of C Colorado State Charities mainly supporting Special Olympics.
3. We drove seniors from Highland Trails to 9:30 Mass each Sunday.
4. Joe Bougham and Tim Strick completed their 1st Degree and joined Council 10961.
5. We attended a Corporate Communion at 9:30 Mass on the 13th.
6. We helped tear down the Nativity Craft Fair at its conclusion.
7. We collected approximately 1500 pounds of turkeys and deliverer them to the Samaritan House in time for Thanksgiving.
Upcoming events include:
